• Location: To Ba Liu Village is located along the route leading to Sala Dan Pier (ท่าเทียบเรือบ้านศาลาด่าน).
• Community: It is home to the Urak Lawoi indigenous people (Chao Leh or 'Sea Gypsies').
• Livelihood & Culture: The community maintains a traditional lifestyle centered around local fishing. They possess a unique cultural identity, particularly the "Loi Ruea" (Floating Boat) tradition, which has been passed down for generations.
  • Loi Ruea Festival: The ceremony is held twice a year, on the 13th, 14th, and 15th nights of the waxing moon of the 6th and 11th lunar months.
• Spiritual Significance: The village has the "To Ba Liu Shrine" (ศาลเจ้า "โต๊ะบาหลิว") which is revered as a sacred object and a spiritual anchor for the community.
• Community Leader: The revered leader of the Urak Lawoi community is referred to as "To Moh" (โต๊ะหมอ), who is the respected spiritual healer or elder.
• Motto: "Ko Lanta is beautiful every season."
